48th Annual – Local 1103 Scholarship Award We are proud to announce the opening of our 48th Annual Local 1103 Scholarship Program.  Since its inception in 1973 the local has awarded cash grants to the sons and daughters of Local 1103 Members in good standing to help enable the continuance of their education.  The eight scholarships are as follows: E.

The CWA Joe Beirne Foundation will award 16 partial college scholarships of $4,000 each for two years for the 2021-2022 academic year. CWA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren are eligible for the scholarships, including the dependents of retired, laid-off, or deceased members. Applications are available only online at the Foundation's website.

  4th Quarter Surplus Declared in Verizon and Verizon Business Verizon has declared a surplus in Verizon and Verizon Business. The surplus at Verizon is due to a process change so FAP articles 8(b) and 10 will not apply.
