Seriously, thank you.
We really appreciate you taking the time to meet with us and let us know what you think. We have criss-crossed the Local and have stopped at workplaces all across the region. Thank you for your courtesy and respect. Your feedback will help us improve so that we can continue to serve you better.
Join us in honoring the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces and recognizing Veterans Day. We especially thank the men and women of CWA Local 1103 who raised their hands to serve and protect this nation and our freedom.
Fairfield FCRD Contract Ratified
The Union held many explanation/ratification meetings around the various tours our telecommunicators are assigned. The Union wanted to make sure every member had a chance to ask as many questions as possible so they could make an informed decision before they cast their vote to ratify.
Welcome and thank you for choosing to join CWA Local 1103. After many months, your persistence has finally paid off.
We are happy to welcome you into our union and look forward to representing you. We will work hard on improving the pay, benefits, and working conditions for our Town of Somers Library Members.
CWA Local 1103 has a responsibility to its membership to ensure all political endorsements are made to only those candidates who will support labor's agenda. That’s how we protect our freedoms, our families, and our futures.
Our next Day of Action in Philadelphia will be Saturday, October 26, 2024. Just like our last labor walk, we are working with District 2-13 and the AFL-CIO in Pennsylvania and will remind union voters to come out and vote for Harris/Walz. The exact location in Philly still needs to be determined - the AFL will let us know where they need us.
On August 13th, the Union (CWA) was notified that a surplus condition existed, and that to alleviate the surplus condition the Company was invoking Article 55 Force Adjustment Plan (FAP) of the collective bargaining agreement.
