Verizon NY Inc, Empire City Subway, Verizon Corporate Services Corp and Verizon Services Corp have declared a surplus condition in 22 titles within Force Adjustment Areas 1-6.  This is a process change therefore the provision of FAP Articles 8(b) and 10 will not apply.  If the surplus condition requires the use of the Enhanced Income Protection Plan (EIPP) under step three (3) of the FAP Article, EIPP offers will be tendered to those employees in the surplus titles and FAAs/Units involved by March 1, 2016.  An employee's election to leave the service of the company and receive EIPP payments must be in writing and transmitted to the Company within 15 days of the offer, in this case March 15, 2016.   The off payroll date for employees who accept the offer will be March 27, 2016.  See attached list for FAA 3 for CWA Local 1103 members.
