Verizon started mailing live paychecks to member’s homes last week.  It is the local’s understanding that many of those checks were not received by Friday of the payroll week.  If you are a Verizon Member and did not received your Live Paycheck by Friday of the payroll week.  Please contact your Steward you will be given directions to file a complaint with NYS DOL   There is no electronic way to file this form, it needs to be filled out and  signed and sent to the NY DOL. We are only 2 weeks away from contract expiration and we should be preparing for a battle to achieve a fair contract. We should be telling our members to make all necessary Doctors Appointments including Back to School Physicals before August 1st.
