The results of the Business Agent – Construction Northern Election are as follows –
Gerry Guarino – 155 votes
Jeff McKay – 154 votes
Pete McArdle – 57 votes
Other – 1 vote
Totally void ballots – 1
No candidate received a majority of the ballots cast and in accordance with Local 1103 By-laws; If no one nominee has a majority on the first ballot, the vote shall be taken again and the two nominees having the greatest number of votes on the first ballot shall be nominees on the second ballot.
Therefore a run-off election will take place.
Ballots for the CWA Local 1103 Business Agent – Construction Northern run-off election will be mailed to the Membership on Tuesday July 23rd. In order to be counted ballots must be returned to the designated location no later than Wednesday August 7th, 2013 at 10am.
