At the 1103 Joint Equity and Womens Committee meeting last week, an activity was discussed that should make everyone proud. In order to ensure its success, they need your help.
Your 1103 Executive Board whole-heartedly supports this activity and you should too!
Bob Rondash is a Member of CWA Local 1103 and he has been fighting for our freedom in Afghanistan. He has also served in Iraq. He has been deployed at least 5 times. His son has also been deployed.
At the very least, we can provide some moral support to Bob Rondash and recognize his dedication and sacrifice. (Not that he has asked or would even want to be recognized.)
On behalf of the 1103 Joint Equity and Womens Committee we ask that all Members write a little letter/note of thanks to Bob and/or his unit and tell him that we are thinking of him and praying for his safe return.
There is a mandatory Verizon Chief and Steward Meeting next Thursday on July 11, 2013, give the note to your union rep and they can bring the letters to the meeting. We will mail it to him in Afghanistan. Thank you.
