CWA Disaster Relief Fund Drive starts TODAY.

Thousands of our members suffered devastating damage from Hurricane Sandy which caused financial hardships for them. We are asking every CWA Local in District 1 to help relieve this burden on our members by making a generous donation to this fund. We also need every CWA member to give generously to help their sisters and brothers in their time of need. We can make this happen.

CWA Disaster Relief Fund Drive starts TODAY.

We are asking you to help CWA raise money for our members:

Membership Drive - Please actively solicit your members to make personal donations. We will send you a flyer on Thursday December 13^th that can be used in the workplace to explain the fundraiser to your members. We will also send to the Locals a You Tube Video on Thursday the 13^th that can be used to help with your membership fund drive. We are suggesting that members make their donation by check.

The membership drive will start Monday December 17^th and if every member could PLEASE bring a check into work and give generously when your union representative ask for a donation. This donation is tax deductible.

Fund raising and donations from Locals should start this week. The membership drive will start on Monday December 17^th with a concentrated effort during that week (to capture the “giving spirit” of the holidays).

Make check payable to: “DISASTER RELIEF FUND-HURRICANE SANDY” and put your Local number in the memo section of the check.
