If you didn't attend the meeting last week, you missed a lot. You missed the public support building for the Nyack Bargaining Unit as contract expiration is nearing. You missed the presentation of CWA 1103's mobilization plan. And you missed the announcement of the initial bargaining date of May 17th. It's our time to receive a fair contract. Bargaining will be different this time because mobilization is different this time. No sitting on the sideline or sitting this one out. It's your contract, get involved.
New York State Senator, David Carlucci, New York State Assemblyman, Ken Zembrowski, and Clarkstown Councilman, Dan Caprara, attended the meeting to show their support, and committed to standing with us until a fair contract is attained. Gil Heim, President of Rockland County Central Labor Council which represents more than 33,000 Union Members and their working families in Rockland County, also attended and promised to lend support in the fight for a far contract.
